Each card is printed by hand with black ink on an antique letterpress from one carved linoleum block letter. The inside of each card is blank. Each set of 5 cream-colored cards is paired with A2 kraft envelopes.

This monogram stationery features ornamental initials based on designs by William Morris that were used in his 1896 Kelmscott Press publication, "The Works of Geoffrey Chaucer now newly imprinted." These initials were enlarged and painstakingly carved into linoleum blocks measuring 1.875" square.

*Please note: William Morris' original "U" is available, as well as an alternate "U" to reflect modern monogram typography. When ordering the original v-shaped "U" order the "Original U" option. When ordering the more modern u-shaped "U" order the "Alternate U" option. An ampersand has also been designed, inspired by William Morris' decorative letters.
