I love demonstrating my craft of bookbinding, and what better place to share it than at the Nashville Public Library?!
Join me during Tennessee Craft Week on October 8 (my birthday, by the way) from 10am-4pm with a day of demonstrations at the Bellevue Nashville Library Branch! Craft artisans, including a potter, a print maker, a book binder (me!), fiber artists, a clay artist, and a painter, from Shimai, Gallery of Contemporary Craft will (respectfully) take over the building. There will also be hands-on activities for all ages.
Come watch me sew books the traditional way, and find hands-on activities all day long! Celebrate the local craft that saturates our local and cultural history of makers and artists. Artisans will also have goods for sale and 10% of the proceeds will benefit Nashville Public Library!
Happy Birthday to me, and Happy Tennessee Craft Week! For more information, visit The Nashville Public Library's events calendar and Tennesee Craft.
